Hi, my name is Eve Mason and I have been following a vegan diet for almost five years now.
I became a vegan after college when I started making enough money to be able to afford vegan alternatives. Why are they so much more expensive than normal foods?
Anyway, I was shocked to see the lack of vegan-friendly alternatives on the shelves when I first became a vegan. I didn’t know what to eat! Either there were no meat-free alternatives, or the alternatives were horrible and did not resemble the original at all!
However, I am happy to see that vegan alternatives are becoming more readily available everywhere.
Restaurants and stores are all offering more options for vegans, which means cooking at home is much easier.
Throughout my time following my vegan diet, I have tried my fair share of recipes. I don’t like takeout (not that there is much choice out there for vegans!), so I’ve had to become creative with my cooking.
If you’re looking for vegan-friendly recipes, I hope you’ll find my website helpful. I think they’re all delicious (although I might be biased), and easy to make – even for beginners.
